💧 While Our City Sleeps, Public Works Is Hard at Work💧
While most of us were sleeping, our Public Works employees were working throughout the night repairing water main breaks across the city. The prolonged dry conditions and shifting ground have taken a toll on our water lines, resulting in breaks that don’t always happen during regular working hours. When they happen, our crews respond—day or night.
These employees work in the dark, in the mud, and often under difficult conditions to restore water service as quickly as possible. We appreciate our Public Works team and the long hours they put in behind the scenes to keep our city running.
If you see them out working, especially after hours, please know they are working hard to get the job done.
Thank you to our Public Works employees for another long night serving Grand Saline. 💙
