🌟Honoring Line Worker Appreciation Day in Grand Saline 🌟

Today, February 19, 2026, the City of Grand Saline proudly recognizes Line Worker Appreciation Day and the men and women who work tirelessly to keep our community powered and connected.

Following the recent ice storm, line workers across Texas faced dangerous conditions and long hours to restore power when it mattered most. We are especially grateful to the crews of SWEPCO and all utility teams serving our region. Mayor Kathy Smith was honored to present today’s proclamation and recognize their dedication and service.

Mayor Smith was also able to recognize our Grand Saline Police Department, Fire Department, and Public Works crews for their hard work as first responders during the winter storms. Additionally, we thank Grand Saline Main Street and the Athena Club of Grand Saline for their generous donations and continued support.

Grand Saline is proud of everyone who stepped up to serve our community
