The Grand Saline City Council has been listening to your concerns with the brown water issues. Our public works department have been working diligently to solve the problem. With all that said, we believe the problem has been found. We will begin to correct the problem on Friday, May 10, 2024. This is a great thing but one that will get worse before better. We feel by the end of next week the problem should be solved. The water is safe to use but will be brown. Please be patient with us while we work through this.
The Grand Saline Council General Election Voting Day will be held at 128 E. Frank Grand Saline TX, 75140 on May 4, 2024 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The City of Grand Saline would like to inform the public about a change in the location for the Regular Council Meetings. The meetings will now be held at 201 N E Pacific St. (located behind the library), 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6 pm.
The City of Grand Saline is now accepting applications for lifeguards for the 2024 pool season that starts May 22nd. Application are on the City of Grand Saline Website or can be picked up at City Hall.

Today January 17, 2024 is the first day you can turn in a packet to run for Grand Saline City Council. The last day to file will be February 16, 2024 by 5:00. We have three positions available for election.

The City of Grand Saline City Council approved a water/sewer rate increase; however, in the conversion there was a glitch. The problem has been corrected. If you have already paid your bill, you may have a credit for the next month. If you have not paid, please call City Hall at 903-962-3122 for your correct balance so that you can get your bill paid on or before December 11, 2023 to avoid late fees. Thank you for your patience while we resolve this matter.

Application for Board of Committee Position
Regular City Council meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held at 6:00 pm at City Council Chambers located at 128 E. Frank St., Grand Saline, TX
The agenda for each Council meeting will be posted on the bulletin board located in front of the Grand Saline City Hall and on this web site 72 hours before the scheduled meeting.
